Martindale-Hubbell® Client Review Ratings help you get valuable feedback directly from the people who matter most—your clients.

Address a growing market demand for reviews based on firsthand experience and win new business—by sharing reviews from your current clients that reinforce your stated abilities and expertise. Share recommendations–by practice area, geography and industry–to help potential clients feel confident in their decision to hire your firm.

To win new business, Client Review Ratings help you:

  • Validate your credentials
  • Highlight your skill sets and areas of expertise
  • Increase your credibility among the legal community
  • Provide clear differentiation and positioning as a thought leader
  • Give prospects added confidence after reading positive reviews from other clients

As a provider of one of the most trusted legal ratings systems, our innovative alliances and technologies enable you to broadcast your credibility to further elevate the impact of your ratings.

A Martindale-Hubbell Client Review Rating attests to a firm's or an attorney's communication ability, quality of service, responsiveness, and value for the money on specific matters. It also includes an optional overall recommendation by the client and narrative feedback. The attorney then has an opportunity to respond to the narrative feedback to provide a broader picture of how they do business.

To initiate the client review process, just submit client nominations via our online Client Service Center. You must nominate at least five clients to have surveys sent out on your behalf. Alternatively, you can ask a client to visit your Lawyers.com℠ or martindale.com® profile and then click the "Review as a Client" button. Bear in mind that the majority of lawyers consult Martindale-Hubbell when selecting counsel—whether seeking to refer business or looking for outside counsel.
